- We've had the nursery pretty much "done" for quite awhile now. The walls are painted, the furniture is functional, one decoration hangs on the wall. All that's really left to do is get the little stuff organized...clothes, toys, etc. Wish me luck finding the energy for that one.
- Two weekends ago we had family/maternity pictures done. I don't know if we're not photogenic or what, but we look like idiots in most of them. Aside from attempting to capture my 8-month pregnant look, the main goal was to have a pre-baby photo of the three of us (and yes, that means Josh, Maggie and Rocky too). I'm happy that we have a few of those that I like, since that's all I ultimately wanted anyway. But I do want to mention that Rocky was a little heathen that day. I can't say I blame him though; we drove 45 minutes in order to go back to the photographer that did our engagement pictures, and then made him wait even longer to get out of the car by having the maternity side of the pictures done first. Needless to say, when he was finally allowed inside he was plain nuts. If you ever happen to see one of these family photos, know that the photographer got that particular moment captured in approximately half a second before Rocky likely slid down her wood floors with the goal of giving her a giant sloppy kiss.
- At my last ultrasound, the sonographer pointed out to us how JJ is practicing breathing. As we all know there is no air in the womb, but man if his little belly wasn't actually going in-out-in-out. A.maz.ing.
- Also at my last ultrasound, I was informed that along with his head being in position, his little behind is on the right of my belly button and his arms and legs are on the left. That made complete sense considering the left side of my stomach tends to look possessed most of the time. I could probably really scare a little kid when JJ's in action.
I think that about covers it. Until next time!
I saw JJ in action today. It was amazing!! Maggie - you should eat oodles of sweets every day!
