This past weekend we had an early birthday celebration for Josh, at where else but good old Tillie's in Keo. It's the big 3-0! His actual birthday isn't until Thursday, but at our age who can stay up late enough on a weeknight to really do a milestone birthday any justice? The party was a joint one with four of our friends, and at this time each year I find myself wondering just what was going on back in 1978 when all of those babies were conceived. I guess it was the '70s...maybe it's best that I leave that question unanswered. It was a fun time of getting to see family and friends, despite the terribly-timed spring snowstorm and midnight testosterone competition, i.e. classy-as-can-be bar fight. Some pictures here of us and mostly Josh's family that were there to help him ring in a new decade. I'll follow this post with a few more...the rest will eventually show up on Facebook!
